Welcome

Are you a newcomer to Bathurst?

Would you like to meet people from your country of origin?

Would you like to make friends with people from all over the world?

The International Friendship Group of Bathurst originated in the early 1970’s with the purpose of providing social and English language support to new arrivals and migrants.

Today our group, comprising of members from over 45 different countries of origin, continues the tradition of support and friendship in the Central West Region.

We get together for social and cultural activities and aim to raise an awareness of the different cultures which enrich the social fabric of our community.

FRIENDSHIP

You can use us as a point of contact for general information relating to Bathurst, accommodation and health services etc.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm starting with a committee meeting for about an hour, followed by a social gathering for about an other hour. We also hold two or three functions each year sharing food, music and dancing.

Come and join us for coffee and a chat and bring a friend or two.

Venue:
