    Our Migrant Support worker is happy to assist you  
       
Residents who come from other countries and cultures
Ruth will be happy to inform you about
• multicultural activities in Bathurst and the region
• visits to this area by officers of the Department of Immigration & Multicultural & Indigenous Affairs
• services and how to access them
• how to get help when you need it
• how to become more involved in your community

Service providers
Who would like to make their service more accessible to people from other countries and cultures. Ruth can help with
• information, referral and casework to mutual clients
• brochures in a variety of languages
• resources for staff on multiculturalism, racism, etc.
• liaison to other migrant services
• organising workshops on Cultural Awareness for your staff

Ruth also:
- Supports multicultural and ethno-specific groups
- Produces a multicultural newsletter twice a year
- Convenes a regional multicultural interagency four times a year
- Has produced a multilingual welcome poster available at cost price
