VOLUNTEERING BATHURST

Volunteering can make a difference to yourself and the organisation you are volunteering for, whether it be long or short term commitment.

Volunteering is an opportunity to bridge gaps and bring people together.

It plays a key role in connecting people to one another, creating healthier families, happier and healthier communities, also creating lasting relationships between the volunteer and their organisation.

VOLUNTEERING BATHURST

Is funded by Department of Community Services (State) and was established in 1990 to provide a service to the community in volunteering, helping people to find the right voluntary work, according to needs, background, age and experience.

Volunteering Bathurst provides information on many voluntary positions available, provides referral information and assistance, basic training courses for new volunteers and ongoing support.

Volunteering Bathurst has many community based organisations registered with it. All of whom rely on volunteers and greatly appreciate the contribution volunteers make.
