Purpose of the Position:
To provide transport options to people of the community
Main Duties:
Transport community members on scheduled runs or social events
Record feedback and concerns within database
Demonstrate friendly customer service to customers and the community
Monitor customer wellbeing
Ensure any concerns are delivered to the Service Manager as soon as possible
Other Responsibilities: Respect customers privacy and confidentiality (i.e. anything raised by the customer must not be discussed with anyone other than staff members) To make the Transport team aware of customer feedback for continuous improvement To advise Transport service manager should you are unavailable for your rostered shift
To bring to the attention of the Transport manager any customer concerns that may need attention (it is not the responsibility of the volunteer to follow up these issues) Comply with WHS regulations and volunteer policy
Skills and Personal Qualifications:
Current NSW Drivers Licence
A caring attitude towards older people and those living with a disability
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good communication skills
