Purpose of the Position:
To provide dementia customers with group activities in their areas of interest
Deliver a weekly group session, in your area of expertise, to our customers in our dementia respite groups
Record feedback and concerns within database
Demonstrate friendly and inclusive communication
Ensure any concerns are delivered to the Service Manager as soon as possible
Respect clients privacy and confidentiality (i.e. anything raised by the customer must not be discussed with anyone other than staff members)
To make the Aged and Communities team aware of customer feedback for continuous improvement.
To advise Aged and Communities service manager should you are unavailable for your rostered shift
To bring to the attention of the Aged and Communities service manager any customer concerns that may need attention (it is not the responsibility of the volunteer to follow up these issues)
Comply with WHS regulations and volunteer policy
