Host Organisation: The Walu-Win Centre & Orange Aboriginal Medical Service
Description and focus of program: The Lifelong Strength & Wellness program is a free 12-week program for healthy aging. It aims to prevent falls and frailty through targeted exercise and nutritional interventions, education, and care navigation. It is for individuals who would like to maintain their independence, improve their balance, and strengthen their confidence.
Cost: $0
Fitness requirements: Able to walk independently or with a walking aid.
Eligibility: Aged over 65, or aged over 45 for Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander people. Living in the community in Orange, Bathurst or Oberon and for people who can be outside the home without assistance.
