This position is for activities coordinated by the Western Office of NSW at Orange.

The position requires a keen and motivated person to support event coordinators in preparing for major events. This position will be a multi-faceted role as the successful applicants will be required to assist with the organisation of  major fundraising events.

• Successful applicants will be involved with managing the relationships with both internal and external stakeholders • Coordinating mail outs, emails and other correspondence with volunteers • Creating or altering media releases to suit the target region/community • Packing and distributing event material • Coordinating and liaising with key note speakers and volunteers • Updating regional media contact lists, databases, and other useful tools • Running event activities • Recording and distributing media activity/results to relevant staff • Working with social media and new media channels to build brand awareness • Identify new media channels/outlets for placement of media stories • Performing other general administrative duties to support event coordinators, including updating and maintaining event databases and programs
