Key accountabilities
Working with the Community Programs Coordinator to obtain a full understanding of the scope of work
Contacting and managing relationships with the volunteer drivers
Creating and maintaining relationships with the referrers of the Transport service
Being first point of call for the Transport to Treatment phones
Processing any new transport bookings, scheduling appointments into the calendars
Processing any amendments to existing transport bookings and laising with all involved
Confirming transport bookings with patients and the referrer
Creating monthly rosters for the volunteer drivers
Managing and processing any adjustments to the rosters throughout the month/s
Being trained in front reception, acting as a back up to front reception
Skills and Experience Essential
Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Time management skills
Competence in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook Flexible approach to work, with a fun and enthusiastic attitude
