We welcomed Robina and Sasi into the Neighbourhood Centre to share a part of their culture with us for Refugee Week. They come from Sri Lanka and have been here for 7 and 8 years respectively. They prepared a traditional dish and it was delicious! You can follow the video and make it yourself if you like. You can supplement the hoppers with rice or wraps if you choose.

Robina and Sasi expressed how much they enjoy living in Australia. They find the people friendly and feel safe living in a peaceful country. The first couple of years were challenging with the colder climate here in Central NSW but now they are used to it and are thriving.

You can check out Robi’s Kitchen on Facebook and order food there.
