Dementia Awareness Week 2025 – Nobody Can Do It Alone 🩷 16/09/2025.

The Neighbourhood Centre partnered with Bathurst Dementia Alliance, presenting at the Bathurst Business Chamber meeting. Exploring ways for businesses to become more dementia friendly.

This Dementia Awareness Week we challenge everyone in the community to reach out and reconnect to someone impacted by dementia because nobody can do it alone.

Creative Kids!17/07/2025.

Finishing the school holidays off with Creative Kids! 🎨

We collaborated with CWA Bathurst to provide a wonderful art workshop, delivered by two incredibly creative teachers. The kids had an absolute blast, and took home some beautiful art.

Another successful Kids in the Kitchen! 🍕

The kids made their own pizzas, including rolling out their own dough, preparing the toppings & even decorating cupcakes for dessert!

Lots of fun was had, including the most controversial decision, when does cheese go on the pizza? Second or last? 🤔

Volunteer Expo! 22/05/2025.

WOW what a week!

We successfully had our 2025 Volunteer Expo on Thursday 22nd May. Over 20+ organisations attending, with many attendees braving the rain. ☔️

Celebrating National Volunteer Week 21/05/2025.

This years theme is “Connecting Communities”, and our wonderful team of volunteers do just that. Yesterday we had a morning tea to celebrate those that volunteer their time for us, and we are so grateful.

This also was a special day, as we farewell one of our volunteers, Verna. Thank you for your time with us here and volunteering in many different roles. 💐

Celebrating Neighbourhood Centre Week! 16/05/2025.

Yesterday we had our Wambuul Mural Launch & morning tea, celebrating both occasions. Thank you to Bathurst Regional Council for the support of funding our mural.

A very big thank you to Stephen ‘Sven’ Rogers our artist, your support and dedication to us here at TNC does not go unnoticed. Another thank you to Aunty Gloria who provided a warming and thank you to everyone who attended.
