WRITING ENTRY

Do you have a story to tell? The answer, of course, is yes because everyone has a unique story to tell. This competition allows you to voice your own experience and share your life with others. There is no minimum word limit (just a maximum) so you can express yourself through a story, poems or even movie script if that’s what you’re into. The winners will be published in the Western Advocate and even have a chance to read their story out over the radio. If words aren’t your style, keep reading to hear about our comic competition!

COMIC ENTRY

So, you don’t like writing stories because you’re an artist? Awesome! Why not tell your story through a comic? A picture is worth a thousand words after all, so draw your story instead! Depending on your age, you can enter a one to three page comic telling your own story. Scan or drop them in so we can enjoy your artistry and receive the chance to have your comic published in the Western Advocate and receive an additional prize!
